ABOUT ME

Rocio “Roro” Vidal coming from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, fully bilingual in English and Spanish, studied Architecture (2003) and Urban Planning and Design (2005) at the University of Michigan and worked as a designer for 5 years in Chicago and Los Angeles for the big firms HOK and RTKL. In 2010 Rocio decided to go back to her roots, acting, and left her job as a designer.

When Rocio was about to start high school she moved to the InterAmerican University Secondary School which was the only school in the region to offer acting classes and Drama Clubs. There she was able to participate in many oratory, drama and poetry competitions and won recognition for it. Throughout her high school years, she attended the high profile Unica, one of the best modeling schools and agencies in San Juan where she had the opportunity to model for various recognizable names like Sears, JC Penny, and Nativa.

While attending Unica she also attended the prestigious Escuela de Artes Plastica de Puerto Rico where she had a scholarship to take summer classes before going back to her High School in San German. “Roro” has always been juggling acting and design and while in Chicago working as a designer for HOK in 2005 and 2006 she took improv classes at ActOne.

Throughout her years working as a designer for RTKL in Los Angeles from 2007 to 2010 Rocio polished her acting skills and attended the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts and the Screen Actors Studio. In 2010 when she quit her full time job to be a full time actress she enrolled in LA City College to study Theater and Voice.

She had her big break when she booked a job in 2013 as a presenter of an entertainment news show for Latin America named Fashion Frontline. She had to pack and leave for the Philippines where the studios were located. In the Philippines, she was able to be a presenter and the voice for various shows in Spanish for Latin America for the global channel FashionOne.

Since then she has moved back to LA and has been working as a reporter and journalist for various outlets and has been featured in many commercials, music videos, tv shows, and feature films. Last year, she premiered her first feature film role with Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee actor Eric Roberts in the movie Enemy Within. In February 2017 she premiered her second feature film role in the movie Everybody loves Somebody with How To get Away With Murder re-known star Karla Souza and Mexican seasoned actress Patricia Bernal.
